To add additional channels to your Main Page, you should click on the Add Channel link at the top of the page, which will let you choose for a large list of available channels.
When a new account is created, a page with several channels is set up by default but these channels are not required and can be deleted or moved around at will.
To create a new, completely custom channel for your own personal use, or to be shared with other users, click on the Preferences link at the top of the page, and then follow the Create a new channel link at the bottom of that page.
