• CNet-International/International Association of Community Networks.
• Electronic Democracy Conference
• The Alliance for Connecting Canada (has been effective in lobbying for changes to information highway policy.
• InfoLink Incorporated: Two conferences on Community Networking among special interest groups.

• Community Network Design Center Proposal. This has influenced the website for the BC Community Network Association, and is being supported in principle by ITAC.
