negotiate a lot of bridges among these organizations:
 - Coalition for Public Information, Including world conference on 
community networks 1998.
 - CNet-International/International Association of Community 
Networks.
 - Electronic Democracy Conference
 - The Alliance for Connecting Canada (has been effective in 
lobbying for changes to information highway policy.
 - InfoLink Incorporated: Two conferences on Community Networking 
among special interest groups.

III: RESEARCH
- Community Network Design Center Proposal.  This has influenced 
the website for the BC Community Network Association, and is being supported in principle by ITAC.

 - The International Development Research Centre (IDRC) Network 
Policy and Community Development for Africa.
 - Defining Electronic Public Space (Public Lane), National Steering
