Accommodation at the University

A block of rooms has been reserved for conference delegates in the University residences until July 21, 1995. After this date, room availability is not guaranteed. A deposit of $20 CDN is required to guarantee your reservation and full payment is required at the time you check in. Please make your room reservation using the UVic Accommodation Reservation Form provided.

All residence rooms have twin beds and have shared bathroom facilities. Rates include a continental breakfast.

• Single: $36.95 (incl taxes)

Children under 12 years may stay in the same room with their parents at no charge. But as no mattresses or linens are supplied for children, it is recommended that you bring any necessary bedding. Older children will be charged the adult rate and may be assigned a room next to their parents.

Housekeeping units comprise 4 single bedrooms sharing a living room, 1.5 bathrooms, with optional use of the kitchen area. Occupancy can be one to four people. Delegates will have to make their own arrangements regarding sharing a unit. The person making the booking is responsible for all charges.

• Minimum occupancy - 1 person: $64.35 (incl taxes)
  
• Additional persons sharing unit: $17.55 ea (incl taxes)
  
• Useof kitchen: $10.70 (incl taxes)

All residence accommodation includes bed linens, towels and soap.

Other Accommodation

The Victoria International Hostel, located in downtown Victoria, accepts reservations with one night's deposit. Members: $14.50/night; non-members $18.50/night.
